SAVE’s Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Field Trip – Saturday, October 11, 2014 – Noon

On Saturday, October 11, 2014, SAVE members plan to visit the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newburyport on Plum Island. If you would like to join us, plan to meet at the main gate at 12 noon. The refuge headquarters and visitor center is located at 6 Plum Island Turnpike, Newburyport, MA, (for Driving Directions, see link below) directly across the street from the Massachusetts Audubon Society's Joppa Flats Education Center. The refuge is a federal recreation fee area. The daily entrance fee is $5.00 for motor vehicles and $2.00 for bicycles and pedestrians. (Please note, the refuge does not currently accept credit cards, either at the entrance station or headquarters.)
